Kansas City Wedding

Caroline + Brandon | 11.25.17

When you meet two people as special and wonderful as Caroline and Brandon it is quite an honor to witness and document their most important day. This was such a timeless wedding! What made it even better was how photogenic, easy-going, and just along for the ride (quiet literally actually!) these two were. There was a lovable pup, trolley rides with beautiful dresses, a kiss that drove away in a Model A, sunset along a winding river, dancing through the night with a fantastic live band, and a sparkling goodbye kiss as the journey to marriage is evolved into the adventure of a lifetime!

We wish them all the best and that the adventure gets better and more exciting as each day passes!

Botanical Garden Portraits

Monique + Alyssa | 11.22.17

What is there to say about these two! They truly are the real life Gilmore Girls, and we have loved watching them go through life. Family means everything, and Zac's cousins are remarkable people. We have loved getting watch Alyssa grow up and see the woman, daughter, and friend she has become.

Monique has been the strong mother as well as the free-spirited friend at the same time that every girl needs growing up. Their bond is inseparable. Their love for each other is immense. Their friendship is one that everyone hopes to have for their own. We had a wonderful time spending the day with them, laughing with them and capturing who they are as well as some senior portraits for Alyssa!

We wish Alyssa the best as she navigates through her senior year of high school and the transition to college!

Mount Baldy Engagement

Rancho Cucamonga Wedding

Kristin + Colson | 07.08.15

Here it is! We were honored to be part of their big day, and it was truly memorable. It had a simple elegance about the day that was remarkable. Being at the bride's parents house, there was a nostalgic feel about the day as the parents, couple, friends and family reminisced on past memories that happened here. Then it was a party, full of dancing, laughing, toasts, and a cool night to remember the warm day! We wish them many blessings as their family gets bigger and hope you enjoy their love story!

Cebreiro Wedding Peeks

Eric + Yeji | 07.08.17

What a beautiful couple and wonderful day this was! Eric and Yeji got married overseas last year with a Korean styled ceremony.  Then in July this year, had a traditional American wedding and joyous reception. These two have a beautiful love for each other, and their loved ones. They had a simple and quaint wedding, focusing on their love and the time they wanted to spend with friends and family. Getting married in the West Coast summer air, with a gorgeous golf course in the back, everything was perfect.

From getting ready and sharing a couple laughs and drinks with their closest friends, sharing smiles in those precious moments. To them walking down the aisle as Mr. and Mrs. for the first time (well, second!) and sharing in a wonderful first dance. The love they have and the hearts they share were imminent and won't ever be forgotten. We had a wonderful time capturing their day and were honored to be there. We wish them all the best and that God blesses immensely. Be on the lookout for their full wedding coming soon!

Venue: The Old Ranch Country Club, Seal Beach CA | Special thanks to our third shooter + assistant Ashley Either.

Huntington Beach Portraits

Shannon + Whitney | 04.28.17

Sisters are loving and kind, funny and sassy, gentle and strong. These girls are all of that and more. They gave us a lot of laughs during this shoot from their random attitude poses to running into low hanging leaves when laughing at each other, yet shows how much they mean to each other and their friends and family.

Little Rock Wedding

Greg + Meckae-Lynn Ratzlaff | 02.18.17

These two. Where to start! Kelsey and Meckae-Lynn grew up in the same city, going to school together and over the years became best friends. When we got asked to be apart of their wedding, we were ecstatic! Getting to be there from the engagement session to getting ready to the vows and sparkler exit, with everything in between, being with friends all day is truly something special!

Their venue was at the beautiful Noahs Event Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. The property is surrounded by lush green trees accompanied by red clay fields and the underestimated brown grass as complementing colors! The colors of the bridesmaids dresses, Meckae-Lynn's dress and their flowers pop with an extravagance allowed by the background colors! The love, laughs, tears, dancing, and toasts shared created an atmosphere that truly was spectacular! Friends and family from near and far enjoyed this special day and we hope you do as well!

Little Rock Wedding Previews

Greg + Meckae-Lynn | 02.18.17

This couple! We can not wait to share their full gallery and film with you all! The bride has a special place in Kelsey's heart as her childhood best friend. From their elegant details to sparkler exit and everything in between, this wedding was full of love, laughter and excitement!

Little Rock, Arkansas

We decided to randomly take a quick turnaround trip to Little Rock! Not really on the randomness but very seriously on the quick turnaround. We were able to capture the love story of Greg and Meckae-Lynn's wedding on Friday after flying in on Thursday evening! We then flew home Saturday evening, but we had some down time so 3 Ubers, a baggage drop off at a hotel, and another Uber later, we made it sound a couple hours in downtown Little Rock.

Our plan seemed so logical! We were going to stop off our bags off at the Holiday Inn downtown (we stayed at one in West Little Rock and they let us use the other hotel to hold our bags), then Uber across town to Old City Hall. We would explore, and walk around, then walk back towards downtown for lunch. Not too bad in our minds, but halfway through that 4mile walk, with no food yet, not sure about my compatriots, but I. Was. Tired.

The journey though was filled with laughs and history that was awesome to see rather than hear about. Arkansas has some beautiful architecture that if you ever get the chance to go, even though you might think "what's there to do in Arkansas?" you should go. The answer to that question is walk around and see the architecture. Both Kelsey and I had visited when we were younger, not even knowing each other then, but man this place was more fun than I remembered. That, or i had a new fondness for buildings and stuff. They have some great food by the way, one of the best burgers! And I eat IN-N-Out Burgers often! Thats one thing I don't take for granted, haha.

What A Grand Adventure

Grand Canyon Landscapes

Over the break we set out on New Years night to drive to one of the places in the world that gives you chills, a sense of how small we really are, and real wonderment. This trip was every sense of spontaneous as we left 3 hours after I had gotten off from work. Drove out to Joshua Tree for some night time long exposures, but we were too tired and cold to do anything but sleep! I know, I know missed opportunity. To read more, click here!

2016 in Review

What. A. Year!

2016 had us in the presence of some beautiful love stories, wonderful couples, amazing venues all around the country, giving us the honor to capture what love looks like to each of them. From couples who had been together for 7 years to those who knew right away and got married within 2. We never know who God is going to place in our life, what His plan is for us when we find those people, or how it will all turn out. All we can do is trust in the path and plan, and live life to the fullest with the love God gave us. Life is an adventure, and an even better one with your spouse.

If there was one thing we learned this year, it is that. From our first couple to our last of the year, each one is on an adventure that begins fresh after saying "I Do" and walking down the aisle. So here is to the journey that you are on. To the memories we hope you make and share. To the blessings God may bring you. To the adventure, that it may never end and always bring out the love you share. And thank you for allowing us to document part of the journey and the memories we have taken from them.

With all that said, here are some of our favorite moments from this past year. Reminisce with the mindset that the journey is always moving forward, and its better with your spouse than alone! Be sure to check more of their love stories!
